Door een gemakkelijke overwinning op Luxemburg zijn Gabrielius Camara en Milo de Boer nog steeds in de race voor de 17e plaats die recht geeft op promotie naar de hoogste categorie bij het volgende EJK.
Waar Gabrielius zijn enkelspel met 3-0 won, moest Milo tot en met de vijfde game knokken tegen de kopman van de Luxemburgers. Nadat Milo (foto) de vijfde game had gewonnen werd het dubbel weer een dikke 3-0. Als Nederland de volgende 2 matches winnend afsluit, wordt het 17e. De volgende tegenstander is Bulgarije.
